Real estate software-as-a-service platform Deepki has acquired UK-based Camion, a specialist agentic AI firm for the built environment, as the firm looks to broaden its offering to include electrification, energy generation and storage.

The deal brings together Camion’s AI capabilities with Deepki’s data platform, and aims to help landlords and investors pinpoint the most valuable investment opportunities, cut energy costs and lock in access to power.

Deepki said the combined offer would help “customers identify the highest-value investments, reduce energy costs and secure access to power, enabling them to maximise portfolio value, mitigate risk and build more resilient real estate portfolios”.

The firm added that, with the integration of Camion’s technology, it aims to increase client net operating income by 40% through targeted upgrades, as well as underwrite new energy assets 90% faster.

As part of the acquisition, Deepki’s data layer, covering more than 500,000 assets across 95 countries, will be merged with Camion’s agentic AI technology.

The two companies said they are already working with major global real estate clients ahead of the formal deal.

Vincent Bryant, co-founder and chief executive of Deepki, said: “This acquisition represents a transformative milestone dedicated entirely to empowering our clients.

“By uniting Camion’s proven electrification models with our dedicated AI Lab, we inject an immediate technical edge that provides institutional investors with an always-on, AI-driven platform to protect gross asset value and secure long-term value across their global portfolios.

“To drive this next chapter, I am thrilled to welcome Camion’s world-class team of AI, data science and real estate experts, who bring elite pedigree from pioneers like Tesla and Palantir, to Deepki.”

Jacob Monroe, co-founder and chief executive of Camion Energy, added: “Camion was founded on the belief that institutional real estate portfolios hold among the greatest opportunities for the ROI-positive deployment of zero marginal cost energy.

“By combining our domain-specific agentic AI platform, Deepki’s proprietary data layer of 500,000-plus assets and their customer base made up of the most sophisticated asset managers in the world, we believe we can accelerate the transition to clean energy abundance and hasten the allocation of the $7trn [£5.2trn] that will be invested in electrification in the coming decades.”
