Plans have been submitted for One Founders Place, a flagship low-carbon office development in Newcastle’s Stephenson Quarter.

The £70m project would deliver a 185,000 sq ft, 12-storey development designed by architecture practice AHMM.
A full planning application was submitted by Founders Place LLP, a joint venture between igloo and Newcastle City Council.
The scheme would include modern workspace with rooftop terraces, a ground-floor restaurant/café and a public square, plus 104 cycle spaces and amenities. It would target BREEAM ‘Excellent’ and WELL Building Standard accreditation.
The development is part of a wider Founders Place masterplan in Newcastle’s Stephenson Quarter.
