Canadian real estate developer and invest0r Epta Development Corporation (EDC) and its development partner Stoford have submitted a reserved-matters application for a 202,000 sq ft cold storage logistics facility with offices at Axis Works near Bristol.

The plans for the scheme at Central Park in South Gloucestershire also include a service yard and parking on a 16-acre plot.
The developers are targeting BREEAM ‘Excellent’ and EPC ‘A’ ratings for the scheme.
The planned scheme is part of the wider Axis Works masterplan, which has hybrid planning consent for 2m sq ft of industrial and logistics development.
The 101-acre Central Park site forms part of the Avonmouth Severnside Enterprise Area and is one of the South West’s most significant logistics locations.

“This application marks another significant milestone in the site’s evolution and reinforces our vision of creating a world-class industrial and logistics destination in one of the UK’s most strategically important markets.”
Other developments at Central Park include EDC and Stoford’s 209,319 sq ft last-mile logistics unit that is already pre-let, alongside a 390,000 sq ft Marks & Spencer logistics facility acquired by LondonMetric for £74m last year. Both buildings are scheduled for completion in October.
