The company has snapped up the site on Saxon way in Priory Retail Park, Hessle, and has already exchanged on a lease with a tenant for open storage use.

The site had been marketed by Hull-based commercial agent Garness Jones for a guide price of £950,000. The site benefits from full planning consent for 19 industrial units.

The business park’s location provides easy access to the A63 with cross-city links to the east and Humber Bridge and M62 wider motorway network.

Since January, E.Coleman Investments has splashed over £10m on sites in Newcastle, Sheffield, Stoke on Trent, Southampton and now Hull – with its portfolio now totalling over 12 acres.

“We are investing in income-generating assets such as open storage sites all across the UK and Ireland,” said Eamonn Coleman, founder and chief executive of the firm.

“We are looking to purchase more open storage sites in the future and we are in legals for another two more sites.”
