Arada London, part of UAE developer Arada, has agreed to forward sell 136 affordable homes being developed in Camden, north London, to housing association Clarion Housing Group, which will make them available for social rents.
The agreement includes 79 affordable homes at 100 Avenue Road, Arada’s development near Regent’s Park and Hampstead Heath, which will feature 172 one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments. Construction is already underway, with completion scheduled for summer 2028.
The deal also includes 30 homes at 100 Chalk Farm Road in Camden Town, within the Regent’s Park Canal Conservation Area, and a student accommodation scheme with 240 beds and 7,750 sq ft of ground-floor commercial space across three buildings, due for completion in Spring 2028.
The final 27 homes to be forward sold will be built at Jamestown Road, Arada London’s joint venture with 4c Hotel Group, which will also feature a student accommodation element with 179 beds and 3,000 sq ft of commercial space, also due for competion in early 2028.

Earlier this week, Arada unveiled the 1,500-home first-phase plans for the Thameside West urban regeneration masterplan at London’s Royal Docks, with a £2.5bn gross development value.
