Victoria Road multifamily scheme, Ashford, Kent

The 177,723 sq ft, four-building scheme is due to be completed next year. It will include a range of amenities such as a rooftop bar and terraces, landscaped podium gardens,co-working space, a concierge service and a gym.

The development is on Victoria Road near Ashford International Station with fast connections to London and the Kent coast.

Bobby Barnett, partner in the capital markets living team at Newmark, said: “Victoria Road is a rare opportunity to acquire scale in one of the South East’s best-connected commuter towns.

“The combination of a near-term delivery profile, strong transport links to central London and the coast, and a well-specified amenity offering makes this an attractive proposition for investors seeking exposure to the UK’s living sector.”

Alexander Clough, associate in the capital markets team, is also advising on the opportunity alongside Barnett.

Earlier this year, Newmark strengthened its valuation business by hiring residential experts Lindsey Lock and Dan Scott as partners, Laura Wheatley as an associate and Oliver Light as a surveyor.
