Flexible workspace operator Runway East has appointed Sophie Marsh as its first-ever chief operating officer (COO).

With more than 14 years of experience in scaling start-ups and high-growth businesses, Marsh brings a track record in operational strategy, project delivery and organisational optimisation.
She has held senior operations positions at Appear Here and Onefinestay, where she led cross-functional teams, refined operational infrastructure and played a key role in business transformation and growth.
In her new role, she will be responsible for driving operational performance across Runway East’s expanding portfolio of workspaces and lead initiatives that support long-term growth, service excellence and member satisfaction.
Runway East founder Natasha Guerra said: “We are growing and so too is our board. Sophie has very quickly become an integral team member, and with four sites opening in the next five months she has joined at a pivotal moment in the business.”
“This year is off to a flying start. The majority of our sites are at capacity but we’re hoping to announce another new location in the summer along with a pipeline of new opportunities.”
