CABÜ in the Cotswolds will comprise 51 self-catered eco-cabins with access to a nature spa, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, shop, restaurant, two bars and a studio events space.

The 25-acre woodland site is located on the eastern edge of the Cotswolds’ Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, 15 miles north-west of Oxford.

CABÜ is owned and operated by London-based developers Olivia Hutchinson and JP Ledwidge. CABÜ in the Cotswolds will represent the third resort for the brand, which also operates CABÜ by the Sea in Kent and CABÜ by the Lakes in County Cavan, Ireland.

The company plans to deliver 10 schemes over the next five years.

Chris Blowers, senior adviser at ZDF, said: “Beyond our traditional focus supporting SME housebuilders and developers deliver projects across a range of different real estate sectors, we are pleased to be partnering with CABÜ to help launch its third eco-tourism destination in one of the country’s most popular tourist regions.

“The CABÜ management team has demonstrated exceptional capability executing this innovative concept and we hope to continue supporting them as they expand their business through additional developments in the years ahead.”

Ledwidge added: “We are delighted to have found such a great funder in ZDF where our values and business ethos are so well aligned. We can see our relationship growing to be able to deliver exceptional schemes and look forward to working with Zenzic on our pipeline sites that are currently at the detailed design stage.”
