The 160,000 sq ft unit – owned by Eastleigh Borough Council – will act as the company’s new UK headquarters, as it moves out of the former Siemens site in Poole, Dorset.
The firm provides data and mobility consultation services for local authorities, regional cities and transport businesses.
“This is an important move for our business as our company continues to grow and strengthens our position as leaders in the intelligent traffic and mobility industry,” said Wilke Reints, managing director of Yunex Traffic UK.
Alex Van Den Bogerd from Colliers’ industrial and logistics team in Bristol, who advised Yunex Traffic on the acquisition, said: “It’s rare to find a solution of this size in the area that met all of the business’s needs from both a warehouse and an office perspective.
“This acquisition demonstrates a significant investment from the business into future-proofing their operations as well as providing them with space to grow further.”
Colliers PBC is instructed to act on Yunex’s behalf and negotiate outgoing dilapidations at its existing facility in Poole.
CBRE acted for Eastleigh Borough Council.
