Developer Manse and contractor J Smart & Co have formed a joint venture (JV) to deliver more than 200,000 sq ft of industrial and logistics (I&L) space at Eurocentral business park, between Glasgow and Edinburgh.

The JV has submitted a planning application to North Lanarkshire Council for the proposed scheme, Eurocentral Gateway, comprising two industrial buildings of approximately 80,000 sq ft and 120,000 sq ft.

With a continued shortage of new prime I&L accommodation across Scotland’s Central Belt, and a record low vacancy rate along the M8 corridor of about 2.5%, the development is expected to attract strong interest.

CBRE and Colliers have been appointed joint letting agents for the scheme.
