Bidwells has appointed Duncan MacIver, previously head of commercial at Cluttons, as its head of property and asset management.

Duncan MacIver
MacIver will be based across Bidwells’ London and Cambridge offices with a remit spanning operational leadership, team development and putting together an updated business plan.
He brings more than 20 years of senior leadership experience in commercial property management.
Before joining Cluttons, he spent eight years at MAPP, where he rose to executive director and head of property management in London, looking after a number of top clients and national funds.
He was also a director at CBRE, where he held roles across the national portfolio and specialist market team.
His appointment at Bidwells reflects a strategic shift in the investment and property management team, which is aiming to improve its business development capabilities.
Robert Leadbetter, partner and head of investment and property management at Bidwells, said: “Duncan brings exactly the combination of skills and experience that our investment and property management team needs at this stage of its development.
“He has a proven track record of building and leading high-performing property management teams, building trusted and great relationships with clients while understanding what it takes to grow a business competitively and sustainably. We are delighted to welcome him to Bidwells and excited to see what the future will bring.”
MacIver added: “Bidwells has built a genuinely compelling platform and I can see real potential to grow it further. I have spent my career on the operational and commercial side of property management and I am looking forward to applying that experience here, both in strengthening what the team already does well and in opening up new opportunities.
“The commercial property management sector is navigating a period of real change, from evolving investor expectations around asset performance to the growing complexity of occupier requirements, and I think Bidwells is well placed to lead.”
