Thorn Wood Gardens will comprise a mix of two-, three-and four-bedroom houses, alongside 14 of Avant Homes’ energy-efficient house types.

Construction is expected to start this spring, with Avant Homes targeting the sale of the first units before the end of the year.

Richard Hosie, managing director of Avant Homes West Yorkshire, said: “Thorn Wood Gardens showcases our ongoing commitment to delivering quality new homes in locations where people want to live.

“Now that planning has been granted, we look forward to starting works on site to deliver our development of practically designed, energy-efficient homes.”

Last month, Avant Homes won planning consent for a £31.7m Telford development, with 135-one-, two-and three-bedroom properties.
