Law firm Clarke Willmott has appointed affordable housing development specialist Anita Rasaratnam as a partner in its London office.

Rasaratnam, who joins from Shakespeare Martineau, specialises in advising registered providers, developers and local authorities on affordable housing acquisitions, regeneration projects and development deals.
She brings extensive expertise across a broad range of affordable housing matters, including land-led acquisitions, Section 106 acquisitions, turnkey and ‘golden brick’ development forward sales, project agreements, joint ventures, strategic land projects and stock rationalisation programmes.
Her appointment follows expansion of Clarke Willmott’s social housing sector team, including recent growth in the firm’s Birmingham and Manchester offices.
