Pan-European real estate investment manager Europa has secured an £89.1m green loan from HSBC UK to finance two recently developed and occupied UK logistics assets along the M1 distribution corridor.

Developed in partnership with Panattoni, Panattoni Park South Normanton and Panattoni Park Rotherham are let on long leases to occupiers from across the ecommerce, pharmaceutical and automotive sectors.

Panattoni Park South Normanton is a 575,000 sq ft facility at an established East Midlands logistics hub, while the 710,000 sq ft Panattoni Park Rotherham is within the M1-M18 triangle.

Both sites have strong sustainability credentials, including EPC ‘A’  and BREEAM ‘Very Good’ certifications.

Europa Capital director James Keast said: “This financing underlines the sustained lender interest in well-located, high-quality UK logistics assets, particularly those with strong sustainability credentials.

“Together with HSBC UK, we have secured a facility that supports stable, long-term income while allowing us to maintain capital discipline.”
