Areli Developments has secured planning permission to deliver 77 Marsh Wall, a 54-storey multi-tenure residential tower on the Isle of Dogs in east London.

The scheme, approved by Tower Hamlets Strategic Development Committee, will comprise 820 homes across a range of tenures, including build to rent, serviced apartments, co-living, intermediate tenures and social rent.
Amenities on the site, adjacent to Canary Wharf, are set to include private green spaces and co-working areas as well as a cinema, a gym, a pool, shared kitchens and lounges.
Plans designed by Patel Taylor were submitted in October 2025 and also include more than 34,000 sq ft of publicly accessible space on site and more than 4,600 sq ft of retail space.
Areli said the development will facilitate the creation of around 2,200 construction jobs a year alongside 151 full-time jobs upon completion.
The development is expected to generate around £7.8m in annual household expenditure.
