Grocery retailer Farmfoods has signed a 25-year lease for three speculatively built units at Logicor Park Daventry in Northamptonshire.

The company will use the three units for frozen and ambient storage, transportation and recycling. Logicor labelled the signing a “record deal”.
Logicor Park Daventry was recently fully reconfigured from one warehouse to three warehouses totalling 800,000 sq ft and achieving a BREEAM ‘Excellent’ rating. The site is now fully leased.
This signing is in addition to the 20-year lease Logicor signed with Farmfoods in 2020 for a 262,000 sq ft unit in Solihull.
Anthony McCluskie, senior director at Logicor, said: “We’re delighted to have signed a record-length lease on this first-class asset with our existing customer, Farmfoods.
“Our ongoing and close engagement meant that we understood their requirements necessary for growth across the UK, and as Logicor Park Daventry, our flagship UK development, was speculatively built, we had a building immediately available, and suitable, that would meet their needs.”
In addition to Logicor Park Daventry, Logicor recently delivered the 507,000 sq ft Derby 507 in Derbyshire and the 330,000 sq ft Bolt 330 in Greater Manchester. Last year, third-party logistics firm Menzies Distribution Solutions signed a major lease with Logicor at Daventry International Rail Freight Terminal in Northamptonshire.
