Stanton joins from TFT, where he spent 12 years, most recently as senior associate.
Prior to that, he was at Watts Group, working across a range of commercial building, surveying instructions including pre-acquisition surveys, defect analysis, contract administration, and dilapidations.
He holds a postgraduate diploma in façade engineering from the University of the West of England, and brings expertise in building envelope performance, defect diagnosis, and building safety compliance to the role.
Meanwhile, Barber brings over ten years of experience at JLL, where he progressed to associate director within the building consultancy team.
He has worked across a range of instructions for major institutional clients, including ESG-driven refurbishment schemes, dilapidations, technical advisory work, and defect analysis across industrial, retail, and central London assets.
They will both be based at Workman’s London office.
Matthew Osborne, partner at Workman, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Roger and Edd to the team. These are significant appointments for the department, which reflect the strength of demand we’re seeing from clients for specialist building consultancy services.
“Roger’s technical expertise in façade engineering and remediation, combined with Edd’s track record in strategic project delivery, will help us meet increasing client requirements for expert technical advice combined with commercial insight. Roger and Edd bring proven experience of delivering complex instructions for real estate investors.”
